Alphatron LINAC main office moved!
Halfway through 2011 the Alphatron LINAC main office moved to a new facility at just a stone's throw away from the previous office.
Main reason for moving to a new location was that due to continuous growth Alphatron LINAC demanded more office and storage space to assure we can maintain the level of service we have been offering our customers over the years.
Our new office is located at the following address:
Alphatron LINAC

Replacement 8503AF thyratron to the 8503AG thyratron
We are in the process of transitioning from the 8503AF to the 8503AG thyratron. The 8503AG thyratron has improved mechanical bonding between the socket and the glass by applying a newly designed O-ring with adhesive sealant. All other specifications remain unchanged.
Design change to the CX1154L in collaboration with Elekta
There is a small design change to the grid 2 structure and the CX1154L is now filled with hydrogen, not deuterium. This results in a faster recovery time and therefore the effect is that the new design CX1154L can be used with ALL Elekta machines, even the very old ones.
Modified CX1154L design introduced from s/n 28528 (WK 33 2009) can be used and retrofitted to all CX1154L & CX1154 Elekta sockets.
New addition to our product range
Alphatron, your global supplier of linac magnetrons and thyratrons, now also offers new and rebuild vacuum pumps for your linac machine from different brands such as Varian, Perkin Elmer, Physical Electronics, Riber, Edwards and Leybolds.
