The Chelmsford - based technology innovators have signed a three year contract with Dutch company Alphatron Electronic Parts B.V. , meaning that customers will have a clearer and more accessible means of purchasing their Linac Magnetrons and Thyratrons for medical spares.
e2v and Alphatron have a 20-year relationship, of which Linac Magnetrons and Thyratrons have been a part for over 15 years. This contract has been established as part of a broader overhaul in the way e2v takes it's goods to market and meets the service expectations of it's customers.
Identifying this product area as one better suited to a single global distribution outlet, the contract will be effective as from the 01 January 2002, and will ensure that stocks are held in strategic locations around the world to enable a fast and efficient response.
